Do you ever been in Romania , with bussines or traveling. I'm born in Romania , and i'm not realy satisfied with this . All say that romanian people are very smart and work hard out of country . But day after day i see Romania destroying and looking increasingly ugly. In some countries romanian people are seen as Gypsies , but is not true. Some of romanian people are trully working but others just steals. So i hope to not be judge for what we don't are

Hi, I have been to Romania several times and have many Romanian friends that I have met there and through my work. I have always enjoyed my trips there and found the people warm, charming, smart and friendly. While I am sure there are some bad Romanian people,, be sure there are bad people from every country. There are neighborhoods in all the large US cities I have lived in that I would not want to visit at night, and there are many used-car salesmen that I would not want to buy from in the USA for fear they would steal me blind. Romania has had a big adjustment to make from a socialist/communist economy to a capitalistic economy which takes some time to work out and the world-wide credit crunch makes that even harder. It seems to me that the hard work they did, and are doing, to get into and stay in the EU shows the country has an interest to move from the old ways to the new. I hope to visit Romania again soon.
