Hi there, I have a question, how many minutes do you use each month on your cell phone. My daughter has switched plans several times and still can't get it right. Myself I'm lucky if I use 50 minutes a month including week-ends. How about you how many minutes do you use?

Unfortunately, I use my cell phone for work purpose as well as pesonal reasons... I tend to use my cell phone a lot more than some of the people I know... I go through somewhere between 2,500 - 3,000 minutes a month... That's little over 41 hours to 50 hours a month... Few times over the years, I've used little over 5,000 minutes in a month... I had to be on a phone to fix few problems that month & I was on the phone for at least 3 - 4 hours a day... Just past month, I didn't really use the phone that much & I still managed to spend 1,724 minutes by the time my billing cycle ended... It was a slow month, plus being that Febuary only has 28 days instead of 30 or 31 days... I do translation work on a side & I do get a lot of phone calls & also I do have to make a lot of calls back & forth between my clients & office as well as my personal calls & also I do make few calls for other job as well... Not using my house phone doesn't really help either...

That's a lot of minutes, I use to be on the phone a lot at work so I know how that is. I hope you don't have to pay for that bill all by yourself. Have a great day.

Luckly, I have unlimited plan... No matter how much I use the phone, as long as calls are not an international calls, I have unlimited minutes... I have T-Mobile & my bill comes out to about $116/month... I also get a little bit of discount on my phone bill... I know it's not much but if I didn't get that discount, I have unlimited plan which include unlimited voice calling & messaging for $99.99 & blackberry plan for $19.99... After fees & taxes, it normally would come out to little less than $150/month... That $116/month includes all the taxes & fees & compare to what I use, it's not that bad...

I probaly use about 300 minutes a month because I am with T-Mobile and the people I talk to the most is on my MyFaves list so I really do not use up my minutes. I am on a family plan with my mom and we have 700 minutes for anytime and unlimited nights and weekends and unlimited calls to the 5 numbers we call the most.

I'm not much of a phone talker, so I don't use too many. I talk to my dad the most, and because we both have Verizon, it's free and doesn't count toward my monthly minutes. I probably use 150 minutes per month at the most.

Is it possible to keep a track on the time that has been consumed on the cell phones. Without giving any perfect numeric, I think I use at least 20 hours on my mobile. The main reason is large number of friends that I fortunately have and many of them don't allow me to call but call themselves. In fact, I am here at Mylot to make my gossiping habit abridged a bit.
