well if shane bond would have been present in the current squad of the new zealand team,do u thiuk that this new indian squad would have got similar success as last time india travelled new zealand, he ran through the indian batting lineup? Do you think he would have proven to be a bigger threat?

well if he is not there then there is not point in talking about him. if he is not fit that does not make a change in the quality of the indian team. the indian team is very good right now and i think they can win against all the teams in the world. but yes i should say that even australia is making a strong come back in the SA series and i will not be surprised to see them gain back their top position.

Australia did well against the soth africans in tests. They have not won the last three odi series at home

Hello,Matthews! Don't think or don't belittle the present Indian team.They are the best of all teams.They will be the world No.1 team.They can beat any team of the world.What Shane Bond would have done for such a great team which has Sehwag,Sachin,Yuvraj,Raina,and Dhoni and the Pathan brothers.thanx.

You are forgetting that shane bond is a great bowler and would have proved too be a handful for the younger guys

Shane bond is a good bowler but he is not in their team any more... there is no place for if's and but's in cricket, in the current form i think even shane bond would have taken for runs, further the pitches this time are batsman friendly and last time it was bowler friendly, also, remember sehwag scored 2 hundreds even in those pitches.. so why not now???

Shane bond was the best bowler in nz the last time india toured nz. Sadly he is not in the team now due to the icl and still would have proved to be better than other nz bowlers but not repeat his performances from last time as the wickets are very different from last time

india is at the top of the game now and batting line up is so good and can face any bowling line up now
