Own clicks in Google Adsense

Most of us are familiar with Google adsense TOS. Among the many TOS, the only term which affect most of the members is about the own clicks of the ads. In my view, I find this TOS as odd one. Google may just deny to pay for the clicks made from the registered IP than canceling the account(though they are giving some warnings). It will be very reasonable.Because each and every one will be interested in showing their websites to their friends and relatives, and the ads may be clicked by them accidentally or without knowing the TOS. What do you think about this?
