end of the world in 2012 ?

Hi all
I heard today that the world as we know it will end in 2012.. Off course I don't believe this, but he did say some interesting facts.
For example there is a planet that will hit the earth somewhere in 2012,
and that it will not wipe out all life..
But do you believe this ? Or do you know something about this ?

Hi, I heard that the world will end in 2012 too. But, I don't think that this is true. In the Bible it is said that no one knows when Jesus will come back.. Only God himself.. I never believe this rumor when I hear this. I am sorry, but that is just how I feel. They have had many false predictions concering the end of the world.. But, they have never came true. So, this one may be in the same category. I guess, this is something we will have to all see for our own eyes..

Yes even i heard it sometimes before not now. they say that according to a chinese calendar there is no date, time or calendar after 2012. it is a numerical scince actually as they said, there is end after every 1500 yrs and so that 1500th yr is ending in 2012.. as per it earth will go through a circle of black clouds which will make no day for 72 hours totally means there wont be sun rise for 3 to 4 days and in this there will be all destruction happening.tsunamis, earthquakes etc etc..i know many things but now i dont remember
