I laugh and I cry at this paycheck

It's for vacation pay that I didn't even know I had coming to me. Ironically, it couldn't come at a better time for me, but it's for such a little amount that it's useless. $9.29. What am I going to do with that? I can't pay off the mass of bills that are piling up with that. My bills total about 200 times that amount. I can put a little gas in my tank, but it wont get me far. It's so ironic, I had a dream the other night that I found some money. Maybe this is the result of that dream. I am so disappointed.

oh thats really a very small amount pay cheque, but i think it must be very usefull to some of your relative who needs it badly if you dont know what to do with such a less amount try giving it to someone who really needs it think they need it more than you do, check on with everyone in your family and friends atleast..

But I need it. I need to make $1800 before the end of the month just to keep afloat, so that $9 wont do anything to help.

Do you enjoy going out to breakfast? That pays for it. It actually pays for two. Or go out to dinner. You can also go out to a movie. In fact, on the weekend, you can go to a matinee and see two movies. Even better than that, go on e-bay, look for a DVD that you always wanted to own. As a matter of fact, thin k of something that usually costs around 15 or 20 dolars, I bet you'll find it on e-bay for about that much, maybe a little more. Also, think of something that might cost around $15.00. Most of it it is paid for. You just have to think little, something that you never really bought because you really didn't need it and think of it as free.

It may be disappointing, but it is $9 more than what you did have. At least it will buy a couple loaves of bread and some milk. Hope you are able to find a way to get more. Have you had a chance to check out any of the sites I sent you?

Trust me I know how it feels to get really low paying paychecks sometimes. I'm a busser at a restaurant and I get a maximum of like eight hours a week but there are times where I'll only get like one and a half hours of work or something and end up with like a five dollar paycheck. I think the lowest paycheck I've ever gotten is right around two or three dollars. Cool I can get a beverage and a small bag of chips hunh?

I once got a check from a company for 63 cents. I thought it was so funny, that I never cashed it. Put the cheque under your pillow and see if it grows! Actually there are a few things you can buy with that. I can remember times I wish I had just $5!

Thank you, you made my day and made me laugh. It's sitting on my desk doing nothing, and in fact, today has grown, lol. I got another $20 paycheck today(actually it's gas money), but it's something to add to that little bit.

I guess you are used to receiving large sums of money that is why this seem so insignificant to you. I might as well say that you might have expected too much as well on what you are going to receive and that is the reason you feel disappointed when you received only $9.29 You know what kris182_2000, $9.29 may be too little to answer all your needs to pay for your bills and i can understand it's very stressful to think of your bills piling up but be thankful no matter how little was given to you. What i can suggest is that you take time to appreciate things not on its face value or $ but on the fact that you received a blessing. Then the blessings will come in smoother.

The sad thing is that I'm used to bringing in about $600 a week in income, now it's reduced to almost nothing. That $9 wont keep a roof over my head or food in my stomach. It wont keep me online, or in contact with anyone at all if I have no way to pay the bills.

In my currency its almost 450 ruppees an amonut that can see me through the week. I guess for you its just nine dollars. Just take heart at least its something. With every drop an ocean is created. Keep saving whatever you can and may be you will reach your target. Are you working somewhere, or badly hit by recession for some reason.

Gees, If I was given $9.29 as vacation pay, I think I would ask jokingly where did they plan on me going with $9.29, Maybe McDonalds with their value menu. I would have been happy and sad in your situation, that's 9.29 I didn't have in the beginning but at the same time be like how in the heck is this going to help me. Maybe your dream was about the money, or it could mean that more is coming. Hard to tell with dreams, honestly I hope my doesn't come true. Mine was around me being attacked by a pack of coyotes, only because a few nights ago, I heard a pack of them in the forest directly behind my house. What's worse about getting money you didn't expect and it's small, is get a check that's small when you where told it would have been bigger.

Sounds like our income tax. I was hoping to get about five hundred dollars, and so was my husband. Then I could have used mine to get us a Blu-Ray player or pay for a ramp and he could use his to go towards the basement. What can you do with $9.29? Precious little. Is it not awful when you expect more and then just get a pittance?

I know that $9 is a small amount of money in this day and age but I have to say that you can put it into a savings account and forget about it and when you have small pays like that just continue to add it to the savings account and before you know it you'll have some back up money. Every little penny counts.

I know it's very little money, but right now, any extra money would be helpful. I'd take an extra ten bucks right now if someone gave it to me. It'd help me with other things. I couldn't quite pinpoint anything, but I'd definitely put it to use.

You might try saving instead of spending. Maybe it will gather other little monies and eventually form big money. I guarantee if you spend it, it will never grow at all.

Awwwww, I understand how you feel. As I type this for weeks I have bene expecting the balance of payment from a client, and the only thing I got was $50 from a friend... When you have bills to pay, and the money don't really come in the way you wish, it really makes you a nervous wreck, since you wonder is the lights going to go, will you run out of gas and all the little things. I do hope that you get some cash soon to handle your bills

Hey there! That was funny.lol Even if it's a small amout you can still use it. Like what you said you can put a little gas in your tank. Or if you don't have anything to use it for you can give it to your kids or nephew/niece. Have a nice day. Happy posting!!

Last month, I am in your position too. I spent more than $500, promoting pay per lead program from adword. Yes, I have a cheque, $290. But before I go to the bank, the company is bankrupt. I can't make it cash. Disappointed? of course I am. But live must go on. So, don't make this destroy your live my friend..

Dont worry about it! Every one else is in the same boat! And worry will only make you ill. When will the powerd relise this problem? Putting million of billions of $ & £ into our systems is never going to help any one, except those making money... If the powers decided not to bail out companys and banks but instead bail out the people every one would be okay, and the eco problem would settle??? If you woke up and the goverment sent every single person in the conrty a cheque for £10,000 or $10,000 would that not solve every ones problems? Even if you have dept and bills more than that, 10,000 is really going to help every one so much more than bailing banks out of problems? Close the BANKS AND GIVE US CASH???
