why do some men treat their spouses bad after they get pregnant?

I think that it is deeper than that, they dont love themselves and they take it out on their wives. Btw if you know anyone like that tell them to read 1 corinthians 13 in the Bible so they understand the true meaning of love.

I have no idea. I don't personally know anybody that has done that before, and am glad i dont know anybody like that. I think the guys that do this to their partners have more of a problem with themselves than anything else and should try and get therapy

maybe these men abuse their women verbally because they dont look sexy any more and they are not putting any more effort in the way they look any more,this man could be angry about somthing taking it out onthe woman as some men would have taken it out on themselve by drinking heavily.this is not a normal attitude and those people needs psychological help. the best way to solve a problem is to talk it out and they think that abuses will solve their problem they should take my above recommendation! have a great day.

i think that its because they have very deep issues that they cant handle on their own. they are probably scared sh*tless, but they are stuck in a situation that they cantr escape from. i hope no one is verbally especially physically harming you. and if someone is, and if your knocked up, its not the end of your life if you leave him! theres tons of men out there who would love to be a father. even if its not their own.
