I loved the movie Shrek, but.....

This movie is awesome, but was it really made for kids? It's got some stuff in there that I would probably not have let my kids watch when they were little. Then again, I was pretty picky about what they watched. I think the movie is geared more towards adults than children even if it is promoted as a children's movie. What do you think?

This movie is aimed at children. I think adult humor is put into almost every kids movie now-a-days. It's to keep the adults from getting too bored. If you notice most kid movies are rated PG instead of G. They are still children's movies, they just a little something thrown in for the parents.

I love Shrek very much, from it's story and it's graphic. That's really great animation, the light, texture, material, detail. It was a great movie with great story. Also funny.

I like the song which singsing before the princess get married,somnetimes,i hear the song when i was alone,and tears fell down.i'm so thinking of my ex-girlfriend and the happy experience of our university love life.

I liked the film very much. It was very funny and the Cat is very cute. Also, note that I am an adult. I think the film is aimed at anyone.

You're right I don't believe it was made for young kids with some of the things they say and do but with this generation it fits perfect with everything else they watch. I did allow my kids now 3, 4 , and 11 to watch it over and over again.

This is wonderful movie, and a comedy movie..I like the 1st and 2nd part much than the 3rd part..awaiting to watch the 4th. This is my favorite movie.
