Have you ever dropped anything in the toilet?

*UNINTENTIONALLY* of course - I do assume everybody intentionally drops their crap into the toilet bowl. Ever had that kind of accident? I have. I dropped my soap in it. Thinking about it now, I should have just flushed it - if the thing can swallow crap, then it should be more than capable to swallow a soap! But I didn't. I took a plastic bag, used it as a glove then grabbed the soap and threw it in the bin. Although I didn't touch the water, it still felt yelchk.

Well one day I had my phone in my back pocket. After tee teeing I went to pull my pants back up and the toilet seat caught my cell phone. The next thing I heard was clump. Yeah, needless to say it was a $300 phone and I had it a total of 2 weeks. It sucked extremely bad. I would have rather dropped soap any day than my phone.

Hii Oyenkai! YOur discussion topic gave me an instant laugh today! It was 2 yrs back when i went into the toilet with my cellphone. I think i need to write nothing more! What a feeling of disgust! I couldn't believe that it happened and i panicked just because my cellphone was like my body part! I had this reflex action though with little thought- Guys don't scream!!! - I put my hand in the hole ...euwww euww euwww...And struggled to get my phone out of it! The main reason i could not let go,was that it was my very first phone and since i lived in a hostel i couldn't imagine telling my parents that i was so careless! By God's grace i got my cell back! --- The story ofcourse doesn't end here! My cell stinked like anyhitng! It needed a whole Saloon treatment now! And i would do anything to get it back! GOsh! I opened all the removable parts. Used my hair dryer to dry the circuits visible. Used a liquid soap to do the cleaning! ANd it was not just one cleaning that would rid me of that stink! Yuck! I had to give it multiple rounds of cleaning! Phew! At last when i assembled the phone hours after its clean and dry treatment- the first call was from My mom asking me where the hell i was!!! ANd i told her..there was no network !!!

This is a nice question.I don't think therer will be anybody without dropping something in the toilet. This happens often with Indian toilets which lie on the floor. My husband drops one or two soaps every month in toilet...it happens every month....last month he also dropped a small bottle of shampoo.

When I was still in high school, I actually dropped my cellphone in the toilet accidentally. What a bummer, huh?! I was desperate so I took it and tried to save it. Unfortunately, it was a lost cause. I couldn't save it because the water ruined the phone's parts already. Stupid, I know. :)

Hi oyenkai, I think there might be someone would throw something intentionally into the toilet bowl. Of course I have seen this happened when watching movies. For sake of safety, a guy would drop something which is import, like sim card, thumb drive, and etc into the toilet bowl to prevent the secret to be revealed if he is been chasing. My husband had dropped his nokia cell phone into the bowl when he was going to pass motion. He then rushed out and got a clip with longer handle to seize the cell phone out from the bowl. He then cleaned it with cloth and then sent it to the mobile shop for repairing. Luckily that he still could manage to get back the cell phone in time, so the damage was not serious and could be repaired. Happy posting and take care.

Yeah, you are totally right oyenkai, the toilet bowl actually is a place of no return. You have given a great and cool description of it. Due to this risk, we have to be very alert if taking along with us the precious stuffs like purse with important cards and cash, cell phone, digital camera and etc when going into the toilet, especially public toilet. We will feel regret and could do nothing if any of these stuffs falling into the bowl of no return accidentally. Thanks for giving the best response Take care and happy posting!

"The place of no return" - good place to stash those things that they don't want to be discovered and retrieved!

When I was a kid, I had this arm band thing that had one of those writing boards on it. You know the ones where you could life up the paper and erase what you had written? Well I had one of those and when I was in the bathroom at home it fell off my wrist somehow and landed in the toilet. I was devestated and refused to touch it ever again. I have no idea what happened to it either. As far as I can recall, that's the only thing I've ever dropped into the toilet.

Hi, so far I've not dropped anything that I need to retrieve. Like you, I've dropped a piece of soap, but knowing that it will dissolve in time, I just let it be. My hubby once dropped his handphone in - fortunately it was just water inside the bowl...until today I still can't figure out how a handphone could have fallen in!

Hey there! Yes, I do but nothing valuable. I dropped my soap too in the toilet bowl. It was slippery that's why I dropped it. I also thought of flushing it but I thought that it mite clog so I took the rubber gloves and picked the soap in the toilet bowl. Yeah, the feeling, eewww, is still there even if you didn't touch it. Have a nice day. Happy posting!!

I have dropped many things in many different toilets! I don't know why! It just seems like toilets love me and hold their mouth open very wide when I am around! I have dropped things such as keys, radios, light bulbs, cell phones and of course jewelry numerous times! Like you I cover my hand with a rubber glove, baggie or what ever else I happen to have handy and go fishing for the items that have gone down the big hole!!

I have dropped my hairbrush in the toilet, nothing near as serious as a phone. Of course I don't take my phone in the bathroom with me. There are some places that I just want to be left alone! Anyway I fished it out, and soaked it in bleach water for awhile. The toilet didn't have anything in it if you know what I mean, but it still seems dirty doesn't it?

Well I did have my share of those. It was a bathroom soap that I accidentally dropped on the toilet. Well, I did not have the nerve to pick it up so I could use it again. So what I did was just flush it. A friend of mine dropped his mobile phone on the toilet. I was really sorry for him. It seems that he has just waken up and went to the toilet to urinate carrying his mobile phone. Sad to note it slipped from his hand and dropping his phone in the toilet. He of course picked it up since it was one of those high end models. But it was beyond repair...

yeah, i was cleaning my bathroom, and i was dusting the sink and my watch was on top the tile, while wiping, i didnt notice that my watch was there, i accidentally wiped it off the tile and it got shot directly in the toilet bowl.. T_T i cant flush it because it will clog the toilet, so i also used a plastic bag to get it.. it was a good watch, i have used it for almost 6 months now. and Im gonna miss using it. hehe

*UNINTENTIONALLY* of course Hmm, I would like to know if anyone has dropped something intentionally other than their garbage LOL! Yes, I can remember that once I dropped my pencil in the toilet when I was something around 6-7 years old child. I was very scared of the fact that if someone is gonna know that I dropped something in toilet I will get beaten by them. I was praying that no one gets to know about it! What a silly boy I was, wasn't I?

LOL - I don't know if soap would have gone all the way through or desolved into residue for a potential clog. Something I'm not willing to try though. I was getting ready for work and went to put on my watch, turned and my wrist was over the toilet and plop it went. I wasn't the most excited person in the world at that point, but did take it out. It never worked but was sad because that watch I was given as a confirmation present from my parents. I don't put any jewelery or other things on in the bathroom now.

Yes I have but I do not remember.. But that is not the reason why I am responding to this.. My son who was two at the time decided to flush the toilet roll holder down the toilet.. It was at my God mother's house.. OPPS!! I looked for that darn thing for over a month before I left.. But she contacted me one day, to explain why the toilet would not flush so good.. Needless to say she was not a happy camper.. Just thought that you might get a kick out of that one...
