If we're blaming the current economic crisis on Bush....

Shouldn't we blame the terrorist attacks on Clinton? Just a thought. I foresee that in the next 1-4 years, everyone will be blaming everything bad that happens on Bush, but how come no one blamed that bad that happened during Bush's first term on Clinton? After all, the attacks of 9/11 happened only a little over a year and a half after Bush took office, and yet when they happened I did not see anyone going, "OMG, CLINTON FUDGED UP THE COUNTRY. WHAT A FRIGGING RETARD!" How long is Bush going to be the scapegoat? 1 year? 3 years? 5 years? 10 years? Will we still be blaming him for everything 20 years from now?

Did Clinton run planes into the twin towers and the pentagon? No, so then no he isn't to blame for it. You even said it yourself "it was a little over a year and half after Bush took office" that the attacks on 9/11 happened. You have to keep in mind that most people want to brush off their problems on something. Bush just happens to be the "scapegoat" that is going to get the lashings from America in regards to everything that has gone on over the last 8 years. This includes, 9/11, 2 wars - which are still ongoing and will never truly be resolved and a large deficit that faced our current president *who yes mind you has made our deficit even larger but in his eyes he believes that putting us into a greater deficit will allow our economy to bounce back, if it does great, but if it doesn't I truly don't think it would have been any different than Bush continuing a money guzzling war with no true end. Even the news states that amongst both Democrats and Republicans he so far has been voted to be one of the worst presidents in history. It doesn't matter what party you are on or for. If you agree with Obama or don't. Our current economic state is here and we can talk to each other until we are blue in the face about who's to blame but it doesn't really matter anymore. It's here and we all have to learn how to deal with it...
