I used to think that i would never get tired of reading manga and watching anime, but lately i just haven't felt like entertaining myself with it. Has this happened to you? How long do you think you will be interested in anime and manga?

It will always be entertaining for me. It doesn't matter if I could watch anime or read manga all the time, it will still entertain me whenever I get to read one or sit down and watch an episode or two. There are pretty much a lot of anime and manga around that targets a variety of viewers from the usual shonen and shoujo up to seinen or josei. Perhaps it just so happens that your changing your interest and that's nothing to be surprised about. You could always come back and read a manga or watch an anime whenever you wish. We know it will not always be forever but, its good enough to have been entertained by such mediums. (^_^ )

I agree, I think that I would be watching anime for a long time to come. Unless something more awesome is out like Virtual Reality games. But that is beside the point...

This happens to me as well, sometimes I have relatively long periods of time when I donĀ“t read manga nor watch anime. I think it is quite normal, maybe you just need some change in your activities and after some time you might want to read something again.

I never get tired of things that interest me, I still watch cartoons.... though I don't watch all of the ones I used to watch, though that is partly because most of them aren't shown on tv anymore, or at least not as often...

As long as there are still good manga for me to read! I enjoy reading manga a lot, but less for watching anime. I can read even no-name manga[which is not really enjoyable], and I try to search for good series to read all these years.

I use to hesitate to buy manga because I use to think that what happens when I get old...but maybe you're burned out. I am a huge fan of Japanese anime and manga, but I take breaks from time to time. Also maybe you're tastes are just changing, people change when they get older so who knows.

Naturally, there will come a point that you wouldn't be entertained in watching anime because you, yourself don't like the story. It happened to me,really. I thought that, since it's anime I will be enjoying it but it's not! It makes me sleepy because the pace of the story is too slow...(super!) But ei ei...don't get me wrong ^_^ up to now...I still love anime. I guess even I grow old and have my own family I will still watch anime coz anime Rulezzzzzzzz LoL^_-

There had been reading & watching manga/anime since young. At one time, about around 2 years back, I really do not feel like watching anime at all. To me, at that point of time, I was so busy juggling my full-time work, school and home commitments that any free time for me is really a bonus. That continued for around 1 plus years until a few months back, I started reading manga & looking for interesting animes to watch (that's when I discover Skip Beat). I will say that there may be some time you may really feel like what you're going through now. However, it may be just temporary. Once you got hooked to a good manga/anime, I think it's hard to get tired (unless the manga author decides to drag the story and fill up with so many "fillers" that you give up on reading...)
