Do you like your job? If so, what do you do and why do you like it so much? I am a software quality assurance analyst and I really hate my job. It's stressful and uninteresting. Hoping to find a new direction soon.... :-/

My job is pretty stressful and uninteresting, but I actually love my job. I work for a small business, so by default I have the position of Office Manager. I work in the office BY MY SELF all day, with the exception of a day a week where I have a friend of mine come in to help do filing. I get paid pretty well, and my boss is a very animated person. I wouldn't trade my job for the world. If you feel that way about your job, you should either try to set personal goals within your workplace, and maybe you will feel more accomplished and be noticed more, potentially getting you a raise? Or you should check craigslist very often and hope to find a new job on there. I wish you luck!

I do like my job since there are a lot of interesting colleagues there. I am acting as an editor in a big localization company. My job is to edit the articles people translated or provided. Sometimes I feel it is stressfule since I have to work overtime. If the quality of the article is not so good, I have to put a lot of effort in it. Still it can not stop me loving my job. My colleagues are really funny in some aspects. They know a lot of things. I think it is a good way to learn from them while working with them. My suggestion is: if you do not like your job and feel tired of it, you may want to change it. However, you need to be careful to choose your next job in this bad economic environment. Cheers. :)
