I am a girl, yes,I do cofess this point.Like no one can choose their apperance,I cann't the fact that I am a girl.I get a chance to change major,so I changed to study machine design, one good major in our school.but many friend can't understand .they think that's a major for boys.girls, generally speaking.are not better good at it than boys.I feel so unfair for the so deeply rooted idea that boys can do,girls can't, I can't deny that I undergo a hard time to study those subjects.I need more time to digest the class.but do this means girls aren't suitable to study machinery?I wonder.

It should be ok to study machinery for girls as well as for boys. The issue is whether you are ready to pursue a career related with machinery, even in very challenging environment, say, in a machining plant as a service engineer. In my ex company, our plant manager is a lady. She works equally well as the man, but sacrificing a lot of her family. If you are ready to devote to the cause. It would be good. If not better think of some major which is more favorable to accommodate both male and female. Law is one thing, life is not its mirror.
