Last year my brother brought home a female Persian Cat. Later that week he brought home a male Persian Cat too. He gave both to me, I was so happy because I LOVE CATS. I have brought them both to the vet and I was told that they were both healthy, that was last year. A few days ago my Female Persian Cat gave birth to 1 kitten. I brought her to the vet too and he said the kitten and the mom are healthy. I forgot to ask him if I should feed the MOM double the amount since she's breastfeeding the baby kitten? I tried to call the vet but he was on vacation until this Saturday. So anyone of you who would know how to care for a new Persian cat who just gave birth?

you don't need to feed her double, if she's only got 1 kitten, but a little more or allow her access to dry food might be good you really should consider getting them both fixed
