Online Shopping: Does sites which offer no shipping charges attract you more?

For me, it always does (of course since I live in Hong Kong, it has to offer international shipping too). I tend to like to order from sites which offer free shipping more. I "feel" like it would be cheaper. What about you?

I also shop from online site that offer no shipping charges but I doubt if the sites support international shipping. I have been buying from a site called www.flipkart.com for past few years. And I buy almost everything from the site.

Of course it is. This is why I like to go shopping in Amazon because they offer me free charge of shipping no matter how much amount I have consumed. I have bought various kinds of products from Amazon already. I love China

Hello wondericequeen, It definitely will attract me more if there's no shipping charge involved. Like you, I am not a US citizen and as an international buyer, I do hope to get things cheaper when buying online.

Free shipping is always an attraction because too much shipping costs can make the products in some cases more expensive than going to the store around the corner where they do not have shipping charges and you have your product right away.

Yes, always. I was surfing amazon, ebay and some other stores, and i found some interesting things that i wanted to buy. The cost of the products was low, but the problem is the shipping, there are some sellers that have exaggerated costs of shipment. The option of buying in a free-shipping service attracts a lot of buyers that don't wanna pay extra-costs for their purchases.

Free shipping is great I tend to find initially I am attracted to sites that offer free shipping or products on ebay (I shop there alot!) but then when I compare them to others that charge shipping, there isn't really any difference in price. Mostly I think that free shipping is just a gimmick to get the sales. Free shipping tends to work best on larger more expensive items.

Sites that offer free shipping are more attractive for me, always, and especially because of this awful recession. But, if I shop online and do not find free shipping for stuff I want to purchase, I search for coupons or promotional offers to get free shipping. There are very few shopping sites that offer free shipping, unfortunately, at least in my experience. Have a good day or evening, as the case may be!

I am initially attracted to sites that have free shipping. I rarely ever buy anything that doesn't have free shipping. The only time I pay for shipping is when I buy from a band's online merch store. Otherwise, I usually only shop at amazon.com, and I only make a purchase if I have a big enough ($25) order so I get free super saver shipping.

I always look for free shipping and international shipping as well. If I can't get free shipping then I look for something that gives me a very reduced rate, some site the shipping is ridiculous.
