The kids are going stir crazy in the house today. I'm trying to think of some place to take them that won't cost me a lot of money (or anything). It's not very warm out, probably about 45 degrees. Any ideas?

We don't have any of them around here. The movies are $11.00 per person.

My kiddos are also going stir crazy in the house and we are looking at a high of 52* today (Wisconsin). We are planning to simply dress the kids up warm and take them for a little walk to our local park. It is FREE and they will get the much needed outdoor exercise and should be tired out when we get home. Hopefully this will also get them back on track with their sleep schedules due to the time change last weekend.

I just remembered about this playground that looks like a castle. It's about a half hour away but I know the kids will love it.

Other than the park I have no idea. Most things around here costs money and way to much for the activity. I have six kids so if we want to go do something with them we would actually have to save money! Even if we want to go do something as simple as skating or bowling, it would cost us 50 or more and that is not with eating or anything extra!! To me it's just not worth it. Thats why I can't wait til it gets even nicer out then that way we can take them for a walk or bike ride or go play at the park. Things that don't cost you a dime!

You could take them to quite a few places.. Ice Skating (there are free outdoor rinks). The Library, Sledding etc.

Good ideas but we don't have any snow right now and there are no free outdoor rinks either. The library is good but we went already this week.
