My fiancee and I are considering the Miami - South beach area for our honeymoon. I'm interesting in knowing first hand some of the great attractions in the area. We're interested in museums, zoos, great seafood, beach activities, etc. So if you live there or have visited there, I'd love to hear your ideas!

You should totally do it. You will remember that experience for the rest of your life. I went there for a vacation almost two years ago and I still remember how great it was. I stayed at the Aqua Hotel on Collins Ave (1535 Collins I think) on SoBe, and it was great. Try to get a hotel between 13th and 17th street on Collins, so that you'll be close to the beach (like a block or less), the great restaurants and Lincoln Rd. Mall. Also, you'll be close to the movie theatre in case it rains. If you're there on a Tuesday or Thursday, stop by the lounge at the corner of Collins and 16th for some good karaoke and a Jager bomb. There's also a good sandwich stand on the street level of the Rodeway Inn. That's a good lunch spot. Be sure that you bring a wristlet, clutch or mini-bag so that you don't have to carry a purse when you go out. It helps so that you don't have to worry so much about being mugged or anything. (Not that this is a problem, because everyone on SoBe are mostly focused on having a drink and partying.) I don't really know much about the other attractions like the zoos and aquariums, because when I went, all I pretty much did was go to the beach, walk around, party and grab a bite.;) Have fun!

Thank you for your response! I will have to look that hotel up along with the hotel we were looking at before to see if it's anywhere near the area you mentioned.
