I saw a picture of Patric Swayze today and it truly brought tears to my eyes. What a far cry from the way he looked when he was in Dirty Dancing. I know that man is seriousy ill with cancer but my oh my how he as aged. They said he was wearing a wig bevause of losing his hair from cancer treatment and he had a hat on too but his face was so gaunt. It really upset me. Why must people have to suffer like this. Another one that makes me extremely sad is the British Actress Jade Goody. She is 27 years old with two beautiful little boys and is more than likely going to be dead wihin weeks. She was diagnosed too late - with cervical cancer. One good thing has apparently come out of her suffering - the British NHS is now considering paying for smears for women from age 20 rather than 25. My prayers go out for both these people. It is so sad.
