Which film would you like to remake?

Hollywood always seem to be remaking one film or another, generally those which are already deemed as being classics. So which film would you like to remake and who would you have star in it?
For me I wouldn't mind seeing a remake of The Towering Inferno as with todays visual effects I feel it could be even more stunning than the original. As for who would star that is tricky as Paul Newman and Steve McQueen are legends but I reckon George Clooney in the Newman Role and Will Smith in the McQueen role would be something very special.

I would like to see the Wizard of Oz remade. I haven't given much thought as to who should star in it. It could just be a all-star cast, and there's a lot of good actors out there. As for the musical part of it, I don't know how that would go over today. It's just my idea for a movie that maybe should be remade, and I do believe the origenal is a classic.
And if the first one gets redone then the second has diffinetly got to be done, too. By the same cast, to keep the mood going. Where as the origenals, part 1 & 2, don't really mesh well with each other. And I know that there's a whole book series to Oz, so maybe there's a whole new franchize ripe for the tappin'.

I like the old classic "Soylent Green". I don't know who should star in it, but it would be cool to see it remade.
