Stolen Car

One day last year I walked to my car after work. I got to the spot where my car was parked, and it wasn't there. I stood there, looking around for a few minutes, then it dawned on me. Someone STOLE my car!!! I walked back to work and got on the phone. I phone the parking lot owner to see if they had my car towed. Nope. I started calling towing companies. No one had my car. I then had to call the police and report my car stolen. My car turned up two days later - two blocks away from where I had parked it. No harm, no foul, but what a giant pain in the butt. Have you ever had your car stolen?

No and Thank God for that. It seems like someone was pulling a trick on . I guess you say what a mean trick or they could have thought of some other way to pass their time away. I am happy to hear you got your car back safe and sound, even if you were upset at the time.

Yes the same thing had happend to me years ago . I was working in a factory . I got off work , walked out to get in my car and it wasn't there . Is that ever a strange feeling or what? I thought well maybe I forgot where I parked so I looked around , no car! I came back in and called my parents and called the police . The police found my car in a near by town, on the side of the road. The car was okay , but they took my babies car seat and a pair of jeans . I guess it was kids that took it for a joy ride . It sure is a strange feeling walking to get into your car and it isn't there hu?

Yeah, I was happy at the time, then I smashed it up about a month later and wrote it off.... LOL

Yeah, when you get in your car after someone else has been in it, you just feel weird. Not a good feeling.

So...what did the police say? What was the culprit's intention? As for me, I don't really have a car, so..hehe.

All the police said was that they located my car, where they had located it, and that I could pick it up at the tow yard. They think some one stole it maybe to rob a bank or something and then changed their minds and ditched it. It had been stolen once before on the mainland when my sister was using it. It's okay, I don't have that car anymore, I wrote it off a couple of winters ago on an icy day. I think it was bad luck for me.
