Convice me Discussions : Home Schooling

I'd like to start a series of discussions I'll call "Convince Me Discussions", I'm not sure if I'll have the inspiration to make another discussion, after this one but I do hope so. I am not yet a mother, but am a person who likes to plan ahead and / or get an idea of what's available for me to try. Well this won't really be so much for me or my fiance to try, then for our children to try and / or learn from. I hope that everyone can answer all the questions with their own personal experience, but if you can't an input on what you feel will be more then welcome as well. 1. Do you homeschool your child? When did you start? Why did you start? 2. How many programs did you use before finding one that best suited your child / children? 3. Which is more cost efficient, homeschooling or public schooling? 4. Did you enlist your child or children in a program to make friends who are also home schooled? 5. Did you later take them out of home school and into public school, and if so, for what reasons? I think that this is fairly simple, and I sure hope it is. Any and all input is welcome, and appreciated. Have fun responding to my discussion, and others, as well we have fun mylotting!

This is a really good discussion baby and I like the idea of a series of convince me discussions I can not imagine why no one else took the time to respond to this discussion, because you think people would jump at the chance to share their opinion on a topic such as home schooling,I know you like to plan ahead baby and I also like to try and plan ahead and I know that we want to find out things that we can try and learn for when we have children, and I hope that more people respond to this discussion with their opinions and experiences, and I wish that I could answer your questions but I can not,I love you with all my heart and soul, have a great day, good luck with all your mylotting goals, and Happy Posting.
