recently I always miss the past. I don't know why i have that feeling. I missed the building and classmatess in the primary school. I missed the life of the middle school and univiersity. I miss the old friends. I know I could never come back to the past life. I am so sentimental. Am I being old?

Dazzling! - Life is a journey...Enjoy!
Hi, In a journey, can U recall each & every aspect?when the Golden Rule is Move On... In life this is natural. You will go towards future & past will be hazy. Donot become sentimental/nostalgic.Recall every good memory of the past,if U can! If U cannot, enjoy Present & coming Future.Keep Ur Heart GREEN.Attitude positive. U r not becoming OLD! =Lahiri,Kolkata,India.

Not old, just nostalgic. We all, hopefully, can remember some good things in our past. I would never want to go back and live things over, but it's fun to remember the way things were. For example, I love thinking back to when my children were babies. I miss those little people they used to be. However, I love the big people they've become, and I wouldn't want to give them up, either. It's okay to be sentimental, but don't let your past overtake your future, because you'll never be happy that way.

Everyone gets sentimental now and then. It's not being old... My 18 year old daughter misses the past sometimes! I do notice though, that when I let myself get caught up in missing the past, it's usually because there is something in the present I'm not happy with. When I start thinking too much about how things used to be, it's time to look at how things are now and what I can change to make the present more appealing. For instance, when I start missing old friends, it's often time to connect with the friends I have NOW or to make some new ones. When I start missing school, maybe it's time to take a class or workshop to learn something new.
