Sicker than a dog and getting sicker by the minute!

Can't really remember the last time I went to the ER for myself........ Question: I know your throat hurts, but do you speak the words you're typing out loud when you're answering your discussions, thereby irritating your throat more? LOL...............sorry couldn't resist. Take care of yourself sweets and we'll all be here when you get back. My mom went into the hospital last night, so I'm waiting for a call from my dad about it, so I'll talk to you when you feel better, tomorrow, or the next day ok? Love you.

only for Allergic reaaction to albrutorl and a nose beed that wouldnt stop then when I had that heart attach and they took me.

I have been to the ER a few times. I hope you get to feeling better soon. It is so painful when your throat hurts. It is hard to swallow. I am sure the doctors will be able to help you. Please let us know what happens and when you are feeling better.

OH yeah I most definitely have bella honey but right now I am more concerned about you! It is in NO WAY sad that you feel you have to go to the ER - apart from teh fact that i am really upset that you feel so awful and I can do nothing to help! Remember to eat lots of ice cream to sooth your throat and drink plenty of fluid to stop it from drying up! Sending you lots of love and hugs and hope that you feel much , much better very soon! xxx

I hope you get better soon! I'm really not very healthy person anymore. I had ski holiday two weeks ago and I was in hospital from Wednesday to Monday, because it hurts a lot in my stomach. It can be very hard to be in a hospital for a long time and like I was in there for 6 days, it was very hard to get back to normal life because I was in a bed for 6 days, so moving and everything felt like it is using to much energy, but don't worry. Just hope you get better soon and it will be alright. Bad things happen but everyone gets over them.

Seems to me I have been in the ER several times. I will not go into the details but I would rather be healthy and not have to go. Here is hoping you get better soon.

When I was in my thirties, I had a very bad pain on the left side of my midriff. I thought I was dying. Luckily we lived close to a big hospital so I went up and after about an hour of this constant excruciating pain they gave me a shot of something in my rear end...talk about going to my happy place. It was such a gentle, lovely, floating release from the pain. I suffered a gall bladder attack apparently. I am so sorry you are feeling so bad. Do you have any aspirin or paracetamol ...honey? Crush the tablet and mix it with honey and eat it slowly off a spoon ...it should soothe your throat a little. Same deal goes if you have some lemon, whiskey and hot water. Mix the honey mix and other ingredients together and sip it slowly but as warm as you can stand it. Feel better dear heart.

I think that this is going around. We keep getting it. I don't know if its a different string or we just keep passing the same cold around. I did take my 2 girls to the dr last week and she tested them for strep but I found a sore in the back of mine 1 morning. Later that night it was gone so I didn't bother doing anything about it. Anyway it seemed like we were just getting over it and everyone started getting sick again. I try to avoid the ER b/c it cost us 100 bucks when we go so if I can get into the dr's office I rather go there. Its only $10 to see the dr. Huge difference. I have been thinking about changing my girls dr b/c they sent us to the ER when my daughters nose was bleeding and I really think they could of just looked at it over there. Even urgent care cost alot its 50 to be seen.

To answer your question, a few years ago I went to the ER when I had a major migrain headache. One of the worst ones I've ever had and when they gave me that pain shot in the rear, it was the best! lol I went into la la land.... lol

We wouldn't go to ER for that usually Bella. But I have been for sprains etc. You sound to me like you have either an allergic reaction or the flu. Although we moan like mad about it, we all have doctors here and they are free at the point of delivery. Keep warm, keep your fluids up and rest (he says to the mother of 5)! OH, honey, I feel for you. Maybe you should go to hospital. They would know what to do, wouldn't they? If you have Strep, you will have to get some Antibiotics and some Tylenol 3's for the pain. It is terrible pain, I know. A brownie laced with THC would help with the pain, but you also need Antibiotics if you DO have Strep. As a Mommie, you KNOW this. Now, get your sorry butt to the Dr.'s pronto. You hear?!!

Feel better in a hurry! I went in twice in the recent few years and both bought me stays... one for a kidney stone (would rather suffer at home because when they fix it the put this nasty thing in there that makes you sicker then you started until they remove it 14 days later) And a gal bladder removal and infection that resulted in me waiting too long because I was afraid it was a kidney stone. UGH! I still get the shutters from it.

Hope you feel better real soon. Sure sounds like it could be strep. Yes I have felt sick enough to go to the ER, in fact sick enough to think of calling the ambulance (but, didn't - we drove to town) and I was definitely sick enough, cause they admitted me to the hospital to run tests.
