I've heard of him and barely remember him. My mother said he was on tv when I was a kid but I don't really recall him as much as Captain Kangaroo who was from the same era.

I swore they said when he passed that he was on TV til sometime in the early 80's. I dunno maybe I didn't like him as much as a kid?

Goodness, I never heard of Bozo the Clown's passing, but yes I used to watch him all the time as a kid along with Captain Kangaroo and Soupy Sales...I just as a matter of fact read that Soupy Sales is 83 years old! Does that ever make ME feel old (I'm 53)

The very first Bozo moved next door to my husband (seriously) when he (my husband) was a kid.. he met him and said he was grouchy as hell! lol! who knew?! a grouchy clown! lol!
