Good attendance to school stands out such an important issue. From what I saw daily, some teenagers are just not attending to school. They roaming around the gas stations, or apartment complex, doing nothing at all. My best friend told me, her sister's homeroom teacher call the other day, told her that her sister absence from school for 3 days in a roll. Her parents just gonna mad. They have no idea what she was up without going to school. There were worries I believe. Should parents and school focus on the attendance issue more closely for the students?

if the child just misses one or two day here and there, then the school just leave it alone. but if the days missed are getting out of hand, then something should be done about it. call the parents. have them come in. make the kids make up the days on saturdays. do something about it. i don't think that a kid should get away with skipping school. days missed with skipping should be reflected in their grades. their grades should be lowered if they are missing too much school without a good reason.
