what do you wear, black or white? usually, i wore black to show how saddenned i was of what happened but somehow, i find white very comforting because i think it symbolizes that the one who died has now found it's peace and he/she is with our Lord. last monday was my aunt's first year anniversary of death and we had a mass for her. my other aunt is still emotional. she was one of the closest as well as my mom. before she died (of brain cancer) she have this request that during her funeral, she wants us to wear white because she doesn;t want anyone to grieve and she would much more appreciate that thought. she is loved so much by us. she put up a good fight but in the end, God was kind enough to let her off with her pain. whenever i come to a funeral, of course i would try not to wear red because i know somehow it's an insult. did you, by chance, to have that experience also? where you unintentionally wore red and went to someone's funeral?
