Ladies, what exactly happens to you after marriage?

The old joke of course, is that after a woman gets married, she decides to stop doing the things she used to do with her boyfriend in terms of bedroom behavior. I found out...It's not really a joke. So I ask, with much pleading, what happens to a woman after marriage? I am not married, but for all intensive purposes I practically am, my girlfriend and I have lived together for quite some time. So long in fact that we tell people we are married. If she stopped telling people this, would her frame of mind change too?

it is not a marriage thing really. like with me and hubby it is opposite. it is me that is going come on honey. i mean we have been together 13 years now. he is 6 years older then me too. also he broke his back 8 years ago. i think it is just getting older, more things going on then just you and her. i mean work, bills, sometimes kids, you are more tired at the end of the day. also have you changed i mean use to did you do little nice things like maybe dinner, flowers, etc and are you still doing that. do you still walk up behind her and kiss the back of her neck and tell her she looks nice? i am not saying it is your fault it is just life and etc. it is not just one thing it is a combo of alot of things that causes this.

I know a lot of people don't agree with me but once you have a marriage certificate between two people it does change. I think with me and my husband it changed a bit more since we've had kids rather than the marriage itself. Some women do take their husbands for granted once their married and give up fixing themselves up and caring for themselves as well as before they married. It's like once they get the man they stop trying. Now, not all women will act this way just some.

Maybe the problem is that you haven't put a ring on her finger? Hmmmm..... Maybe you should get married and find out?

I can't answer for all women, but I find what your saying a bit puzzling. I've heard the old saying how once you're married you never get any, but I don't really believe that is true. I think once you're married (or have been with someone for a while) it gets better.

I was with my boyfriend for 7 years until we got married. In may it will be 2 years, & nothing has changed. We are still as sexually active as we always were. Being married shouldnt change anything
