How can you cure rabbit's scabies? My rabbit has scabies. So I try to cure him by putting alcohol in it. But it was not effective. The other day, I applied an antiseptic. His both feet and nose are alteady affected. And it's starting to go up to his legs. I'm worried that it might get worse. Can you please tell me what is an effective medicine to that? Thanks...

Revolution can do the job easily. Your vet can give your rabbit a shot of ivermectin; you probably will have to bring your rabbit back for follow-up shots over the next few weeks. Clean your home and the cage area as thoroughly as you can (try an anti-flea cleaner or a 1:10 bleach to water solution) and pay particular attention to bedding (boil these), carpeting and such. Mites can live in them for quite awhile. More info here: http://www.petschannel.com/forum/?page=topic&topicID=8594
