Do you know somebody who has Tourette Syndrome?

A neurological disorder characterized by motor and vocal tic---that is Tourette Syndrome. Some of the symtoms include coughing, sneezing, eye twitching, head banging, shoulder shrugging, eye blinkiing, etc. Do you happen to know somebody who has it?

My mother in law has a version of this that only 10% of sufferers has where she swears constantly.
We found this out the day she assaulted me and the police took her away. They mentioned this and I looked it up and confirmed it.
She's gone now and we don't have to listen to her mouth anymore. She refuses to believe that she has a problem so she won't get treatment for this.

Your right kris, not only that, the 10% also accounts for symptoms such as the SIB or the self injurious behaviors. Having said that, there is a great possibility that these people can also hurt themselves. I hope she gets proper treatment even if the realization is not there yet. And im glad that your okay after the assault.

Yes I recovered thank you.
I highly doubt she'll get the help she needs, she lacks the brains to realize that she has a problem, no matter how many times she's told that she does.
