Freelance Writing Jobs

I am looking for any legit freelance writing jobs and anything on how to get started. I love writing and this is something that is a passion of mine. I was talking to my husband and he told me I could get paid to write about stuff I love to talk about and half the time he dont want to hear..LOL.. So, if anyone can help me out please let me know.
If you have any links in your profile I can check out for freelance writing or even paid for blogging please let me know also as I just started a blog and would love to get more followers and some friends on it..LOL..It is about a Stay At Home Mom trying to make on the internet:)

Fiction or non-fiction? There are more markets for non-fiction writers, mostly about "how to". If you really want to make a good living out of writing, try elance and guru.com. Most of the jobs in these 2 sites are given to professional writers and you got to pay a small fee to get a good writing job.
Constant Content is a site that you post your article, quote your price and wait for buyer to buy. The standard is very high, articles are rejected for slight gammar mistake or sentence structure.
Helium and Associated Content are for novice writer like me. Rejection rate is very low and so is the earning.

Hi CatGods, Helium does not require exclusive rights, and AC also allow articles posted elsewhere to enjoy Display Only content.
You may post an article in Helium, AC and still sell it in Constant Content by selecting your option.
Helium still pays upfront, but there are some restrictions for writers from India. AC do not pay upfront for international writers. CC is very strict on the quality of the article, and they do not pay, the buyers will pay and CC takes a cut of it as commission.

Thank you very much! I will check in to it. I write a bit of both. Non Fiction and Fiction for fun:) But basically, I was talking with my husband and he suggested I make money doing something I love to do which is writing and discussing things with people. Sharing my knowledge and advice. So, freelance writing is a great way of doing that:) I will check out those sites you mentioned. Thank you:)
