chop shops

does anyone know the sign of a chop shop we think we got a neighbor doing one and he got multiple car coming thru but not going out. i have talked to the police but they were suppose to a drive thru my area and check it out. he wanted me to get the license plate but like 3 cars are hidn so i cant get them
