Do you pre-rinse before you put them in the dishwasher?

I sometimes pre rinse before I load the dishes washer, but honestly sometimes I dont especially if there happens to be a lot of dishes, because if theres a lot of dirty dishes it would take to long to pre-rinse every single dish, so sometimes I just load them up and keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best lol.
How about you all do you pre-rinse before you load?

Most of the time I do, though today there was one dish I didn't worry about prerinsing because it wasn't all that gukky. It's just a habit to prerinse, even if it's just running water over it for a moment.

Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. It just depends on my mood and how yucky they are.

If there's something on the dish that is going to be too much for the dishwasher or if I'm not running it right away and I think something is going to dry and get stuck on the dish then I rinse them off. I usually soak silverware for a bit if there are lots of food bits stuck on them because they never seem to come totally clean. I find that using a good quality rinse aid in the dishwasher really helps.

Yes definitely, every time! I don't want to take the risk of clogging up the dishwasher. Often dirty plates will have food stuck on them so these will get stuck in the washing process and could damage the dishwasher. Maybe soak all the dishes in the sink for 30 min before putting them in? At least that way the whole pre-rinse procedure wouldn't be too long and painful?
