Do you get back pain after sitting in front of computer for long time. I sometimes feel uncomfort in back after sitting for very long time. I usually take breaks in between, walk around then continue. What you do when you have sit in front of computer for long time?

Yes, especially if i spend the whole day in front of the computer. I stand up and walk and do some stretching to ease the pain. And it really helps.

It's important to sit at the right angle to the keyboard, and have the screen at the right height. Also its probably good to get a orthopedic office chair but they are so expensive, so i struggle with pain also. But when u strengthen your back and abdominal muscles, the pain eases a bit. Also if u try some kinds of massage, like thai massage, it can help ease it for a while.

Back ache is troubling me the past few weeks. I guess, it's because of staying long in front of the computer. I have been working with my computer for many hours.

Hi everyone, My back pain problems seem to have now become knee problems. I have had an MRI scan on my knee and I am expecting the result next week with the need to have an operation on my knee. This was after an MRI scan on my back six months ago which did not show any problems, but still kept a great deal of my pain from my back. Following this I went swimming and did Pilates every day for 6 months. I have been visiting a top Osteopath/Physiotherapist for over a year and also had acupuncture, both of these specialists said that I was struggling from chronic back pain. May I please pass this to everyone and respectfully suggest that they should have some exercise each day. Swimming or walking are great ways of avoiding back pain, but please consider Pilates. This is now a very good way of avoiding back pain and I wish that I had done this years ago.

Yeah, I often get back pain, like a lot. My work is to sit in the computer and type and I do it 5 days a week and 8 hours each day and even after work, I do a lot of typing in the computer like in Mylot and surfing the net. Like you, I usually take a break, do some stretching. Sometimes, when it gets so achy, I do take some pain killer. I worry if this could lead to something serious.

I have the same problem with you. When I sit in front of the computer for a very long time, I will start to feel back pain. What normally I do is I will stand up and walk around my office. After that I will so a simple stretching to reduce the back pain and go back to my place to continue my work.
