Hold the elavator door for someone? Let someone in line go ahead of you with less or more items? Do you or would you be courteous if the chance arrived?

I treat people how I would want to be treated myself, so yeah I try to be as helpful and kind as i can be. Tho I wouldnt open a door just cos the person is a woman as thats sexist. Altho I would open a door if someone had their hands full or had a buggy etc etc

One thing i always bear in mind is this bible verse in James that says "To him that knoweth to do good and doeth it not, to him it is sin" So if there is a chance for me to help, i sure would help than commit this sin. It feels good especially if you are helping the elderly. Aside from the fact that I too will grow old someday, i'm just trying to sow seeds of kindness which i'm sure will reap a good fruit in the future. In the Philippines respect is highly emphasized and considering that most families are extended type it's a common sight to see the kids taking care of moms or dads, or the grandparents.

I believe in karma....for the deed you do it gets passed on and also returns to you..its a win win situation all around, not to mention the fact that you made someone smile by just being you

I try to be couteous and extend what I feel is (or at least, should be) common human decancy to pretty much everyone I meet. If someone is acting in a manner that is rude or mean, however, I generally will not go out of my way to give them whatever they think they want; it just doesn't seem worth it if someone is determined to be a jerk.

I am always happy to help someone or just say something nice. It's an easy way to give to others. It does not cost a thing, just a little bit of time and attention. Courtesy and kindness can never go out of style.
