Odysseas was the mythic king of Ithaka, and he is the basic heroe of Homer's epic poem Odyssey. He is also a very important character in the other Homer epic Iliad. Odysseas was known for his intelligence, his foxness, his ingenuity, and also, for the ten years that he spend on the seas until he found the way back to Ithaka, after the 10year Trojan war. He was Laertis and Antiklias son, Penelopes husband and father of Tilemachos. Some say that gods intetionly made Odysseas to be in so much trouble, so he would be a better man.
