I was reading an artical this morning on Delaware Online. The artical said that there were 4,317,119 births in 2007, in the United States. That number tops the record set in 1957 at one of the highest of the baby boomer generation. Wow that is a lot of babies born. They are saying that a lot of babies are being born in multiples by women who have had trouble getting pregnant and use a virto fertilization to help them get pregnant. It also says the amount of teenage pregnancies have gone up. Also the amount of non-married females are getting pregnant more often. What do you think of those statistics? I am an unwed mother of two and plan to stop there. Do you think it's good that there are so many more births or bad? What do you think about teenage pregnancy? Is there a way to better prevent our teenagers from getting pregnant? What do you think?

So there was a baby boom in 2007 in the USA. That might mean when these children reach school age more teachers will be needed and some new schools might need to be built. I think education can help teenagers find out how to prevent pregnancy. I don't believe in abortion so I think the teenagers that have kept their babies were right to do that. I think that in todays world it is acceptable for unmarried ladies to get pregnant and have a baby. I feel sorry for ladies that are unable to get pregnant in a natural way. I don't blame them for getting treatment that might lead to a multiple birth because they deserve to be helped get pregnant. The treatment can be expensive like thousands of dollars so the lady probably wants as much chance as possible of having a baby. A lady wanting to get pregnant isn't to know how many other ladies will in the same her as her until perhaps years later. I have a teenager and a toddler and I am currently pregnant.

Yes that generation was known as the baby boomers. I don't believe in abortion either but I do believe in protection teenagers are not grown up enough to be a parents and shouldn't be forced to grow up fast enough to deal with it. I think we need to talk to our children and make them understand why you shouldn't get pregnant at a young age. Congratulations on your pregnancy thanks for your response
