Some places it may be had holding or kissing, but here in my little hometown its different. You want to be yourself and enjoy a kind of intimacy with a new friend. Some cultures may laugh but here it is perfectly Ok to, well ... burp out loud on the first date. There I said it. How about where you live?

I think it depends on how well you already know the person. If you just meet them the day before it would be different then if you'd known them for a few years. Some sleep together one the first date...others it takes 2 months. So it depends on the people, how well they know each other, among other factors. As far as manners I think mostly people try to be on their best. I dont know if anyone would let out a fart on their first date. Probably would be over pretty quick.

It gets over pretty quick after loud burps, too, I understand. From other people. Really... (thanks for your post...)

Just be yourself. Never do anything you don't feel like you want to do. See where the date takes you. This is what I use as a rule of thumb...just don't do anything you will regret later in the night or the next day.

Hello, it depends on the people on the date and how comfortable they are wioth each other. Like the first one to answer, I also think people on a first date will be on their best behavior if they hope to have a second date.

I think its about the person you are not the places your from on what determines your first dates. Some people have fun, others take it more seriously I just think its about what and who you are and maybe how comfortable you are with your date

Don't have expectations or set rules in your head. Asumming you are an adult, just the date go where it goes, I don't think people are as dissapproving as they use to be. I know people who have gone all the way on the first date and others who take things slow. It's all up to you. Don't be pressured to do anything you don't want to do either.
