Saturday, March 21' 2009, was the first time I came to visit Argao since bought my smart phone. And that was the time I proved that myself that this said municipality has free wifi service. And imagine, not only one but at least 5 free connections you can choose to connect to. How I wish we can have more free wifi zones in the city, so we can be connected more often. How about you, what is your location and do you have free wifi zones in there? By the way, Argao is located south of Cebu, one of the Philippines' most beautiful Visayan island province.

Wow free-wi fi service in your municipality? That is really cool! We don't have that around here in our place. I do know one McDonald's store in Ortigas Center that offers Free Wi-fi. They also offer it in Robinson's Galleria and other coffee shops provided you need to buy something from them. I'd really love for our municipality to have something like that.

We have two wifi zones, ours and a neighbor's. I have the feeling that some may be using ours. We're way out in the country and I'm amazed that we were even able to get Comcast cable and internet service! I haven't really traveled in the past few years but I do know that there is one area without wifi service: the area where my other house is located, which is 250 miles away. I can't even get my Verizon telephone service to work in that house! I can drive a mile or so away and get service, but not at that house. It is even farther out in the country than the house we're living in now. I want to sell that other house, but I'm not mentioning the fact that even cell phone signals are hard or even impossible sometimes to get from that location. While my son was living there, I had satellite TV and internet service, but getting a signal on a cell phone is all but impossible. I'd love to be able to visit beautiful places like you mentioned. I doubt I ever will, but I can still dream, right?

There are a few hot spots in the mall at this time and in the airport but it is not so convenient to most people here. I said that because a lot would just stay at home and enjoy it's comfort due to the fact that the broadband connection here is fast and cheap. So mostly prefer the privacy at home.
