Do you Prefer Bath or Shower?

There are times when I enjoy a long leisurely soak in the tub, but more often than not I end up taking a quick shower. What do your prefer, sit and soak or splash and dash?

Living in the States I loved soaking in a hot bath . Since living in Mexico the best way to cool off is an afternoon shower . There is nothing better after a hot sweaty day . During the summer months we can shut off our hot water tank because the sun warms the water enough . A cool shower in the afterooon is soo refreshing !

i like to take baths to there are all types of smelly salts, bubble bathes and oils. but i take showers because if you think about it when you tak a bath you are sitting in you own dirt. so your not getting clean any way!!!

I'm not really a fan of soaking in a tub. It's just not that comfortable to me. I've tried to make it comfortable. I've tried to use nice bubbles and stuff but it just isn't that comfortable for me. I'd rather take a shower. I find them more relaxing and I feel more like I've cleaned off the remenants of the day when I shower.

It depends on my mood. I love showers. I can shower 3 times a day and just stand in it for an hour. I also like baths. It is like calgone take me away. Sometimes I feel like a bath or sometimes I just want to shower. Anyone else feel this way?

Hi shewolf52002... Well, I usually do not have the leisure to really enjoy a long hot bath so I have to stick with taking a shower everyday. I work anywhere from 11 hours to 13/14 hours a day so I can't really find time to relax and enjoy a bath. During weekends though, I try to sneak in a long bath if possible. Love taking one with lots and lots of bubbles. teehee.

I'm a shower guy, a bath takes too long and by then I'm sitting in my own mucky muck and the water is cold. Brrrrr. I'd rather take a hot shower and sunburn myself with water.

I prefer shower better even though soaking myself in a hot tub is sometime enjoyable too. I like the running water through my body from the shower that somehow makes me feel that my circulation would flow better and the important thing for me is it is quicker as I always take a shower before going to work and I don't have a habit of taking a shower/bath at night so time consuming for me is important too. Cheers, Cest_moi

Most of the time I prefer a shower. But I use bubble baths to treat myself after a nice work out, in the evenings. I mostly do this in the winter because it feels so good to sit in the warm bath tub! I mostly take showers though because I typically shower right before work in the mornings and just don't have time for a bath then.

I prefer showers to be honest, because they're faster and I find that it's easier to shampoo and rinse my hair. I suppose that's my issue with baths, I don't like the idea of sitting in your own filth in a matter of speaking. The idea of washing yourself off and then soaking in it doesn't appeal to me. However, I do like a good soak in the tub from time to time because it's definitely more relaxing than taking a shower.
