Hello jezblog! I am more comfortable of group studying than studying alone. I tried to study alone and then after 30 minutes, I feel sleepy..hehehe..But still it depends to the people whom I have to study with. I am more comfortable studying with a group of humble people than studying to those "feeling bright" people.

Hi, I feel more comfortable studying alone than in a study group as I will be easily distracted by others. However, study in a group does has its benefits such as being able to ask your friends about matters you are in doubt. Even when I am studying on my own, I will be distracted by things like surfing the Internet or watching TV.

I personally prefer studying on my own unless it's for a foreign language course or if I might benefit from studying in a group. For example, one of my teachers used to use the day before a test for playing Jeopardy in which we were all broken into groups and answered questions in such a manner. The incentive for this was that the winning group often got extra points added to their test and could thus, score higher than everyone else.

i think that studying with a group is a very good thing to do because when i'm studying alone i always lose my concentration and it take me more time to finish my duties. By the way i prefer to study with small groups (2-3 people at max) cuz if someone don't understand something in a big gruop no one wuold care about him.

I think it depends on the people whom we study with. Some of my friends used to chat on different subjects while chatting while some friends used to discuss only the topics to study. I used to spend time with my friends who discuss only topics we have to study. I had done group study before when I was in college and schools. I think it is fun because most times we remember the things said by our friends on the subjects we have to study.

I have always done better studying by myself. I think I am better at studying alone, at least at first, because then I can use whatever method of studying I want. Sometimes in the past, I've tried to study with others, and since we have different methods of studying, it can make things a little more difficult. I prefer to study by myself first, until I feel a lot more comfortable with the material. Once I'm more comfortable with the material on my own, then I don't mind getting together with others to quiz each other or something. That seems to be what works best for me. Good luck with your thesis!

I usually study alone, but there are times, when I studied in group. It really depends on the timing, and such. However, I'd have to say that i prefer to study alone. I'm not 100% sure why, but it's just the way it is, I guess.

I like to study alone. I used to study alone since my childhood days. Group studies i have done many times, but its not works. For particular subjects group study is better,i think.

I am used to studying alone. It is the most effective way or learning for me. I will feel more comfortable when there is no one around, with little distraction from others. So I can easily keep my attention focused on my study. Aslo, it is more convenient for me to study alone since I may take a rest or listen to a cheerful song to relax myself during the study process. I can do whatever I want to do without interrupting other people.

Hi! To be honest, I can't control myself not to chat with others when I am studying in a group.Anyone who makes a sound of noise will definitely disturb me from focusing on my study! That's why I quitted school when I was to be senior highschool grade three. The next year I studied at my home all by myself and finally made it to attend a college(I'm chinese). I'm sophomore in Wuhan University of Technology now,and I again find it hard to concentrate on my study with so many people around me!Especially In the dormitory,I can't tolerate the disturbance made by my roommates. Our habits of living regulations are quite different from each other.Specifically for the time to go to sleep when are very different, and then it results in the decline of my sleep quality!

well my study habits are a little strange.. i usually tend to study by myself because nobody else can teach me better than myself.. After studying by myself, then i go to my friends who most likely do group study and i teach them... in that way i get revision for myself and if they have any doubts, then i can find answers to them as well..

hello mylotter, hmmmmmmm, for me I would rather prepare to study alone than to have a group study. I can't concentrate if there are many people around me while I'm studying. I prepare to study at home especially at dawn coz my mind is fresh.

Group studies usually end up in chit chat. I prefer to study alone. If all of you have already studied and you want to compare ideas, then group study will be effective. So even though you end up chitchatting, you are already done with your studies.

Hi, I prefer to study on my own as there is no distration and irrelevent chatting with other people. But if study in a group, you can ask around when you come across any problem. So, I think it is hard to say which way is better. Personally, I prefer to study alone, and it is possible for me to finish the whole course without even need to attend the lecture, but that is another story (the lecturers are just lousy).
