My wisdom tooth grew in and shortly busted the next tooth down. Now the nerve is exposed and I'm trying extract the shattered tooth but I can't seem to wiggle it free. it isn't even loose, which I can't seem to understand why. Does anyone have a "Do it yourself" method for taking this pain in the mouth out?

i wouldn't.seriously. if you have wraparound roots like i did,and you mess with it,the remainder might break off.then it'll inflate with infection and you might get blood poisoning. what you can do for the nerve temporarily though is chew some clove if you have it.it numbs the pain quite a bit.

Hi,jeffsback2223! I would not mess with it, if I were you. You may want to take some Orajel until you can get to the dentist. When we were younger, when our teeths were loose, my uncle would pull our teeth out with pliers.. I don't know where he got them from, but he used to pull out the kids teeth in the house like this. This was a very old fashioned way of pulling teeth. But, now, going to the dentist would be wise. They will be better to treat any infections properly. I hope that you find some relief really soon. Take care!
