We see everyday on TV very thin models, and it really makes teenagers really want to look like them. It is true that in spain models have to be not less that size 12, however I am still seeing only thin models, I never saw a normal sized model. I see that teenagers are being influenzed by these thin models and many of them will fall into a tunell which is difficult to return back. They will starve themselves so to stay thin. Obesity is not good, however not eating at all is not good either. Don't you think that education to eat healthy have to be at a tender age.

I think that it goes beyhond just eating healthy, but it goes more with a healthy self-esteem. Children who do not have a healthy self-image are more likely to be susceptable to the media, and to eating disorders. I think that's where the education really needs to start, and yes at a young age. It begins with parenting. If parents have unhealthy self-images they can also pass these views to their children. I have an eating disorder, and I know that I passed it on to my oldest who one day said she needed to loose five pounds cause she was fat. She's skinny as a rail. With my second marriage, I'm much more aware and because I've been dealing with my eating disorder I'm able to learn how to do things properly so that those things won't be passed on to my children in this marriage. Hi friend your are very much correct, teenagers need to be educated about good physique. Being thin is not all sufficient to make them look good and smart. No eating or less eating is always dangerous for young girls as it make them too weak and their life will comes in danger . In fact at the young age girls have lot of biological changes and needs more energy to come out of such effect caused by changes in body. In fact they should learn about good and healthy food to become smart and good looking instead of not eating.
