You bet im guilty of being one. My boyfriend is away for a trip abroad so Im alone for the whole weekend. I slept late Friday night and lastnight, watching DVDs from the time I woke up while I have my notebook at my lap, doing some stuffs over the internet like mylotting. I even had some microwavable foods since I felt so lazy preparing a decent meal just for myself. I was tempted to go out,to meet my sisters and friends yet I just felt that once in a while had this rare chance to enjoy and embrace the world of movies, television and internet. I feel so recharge now after my so heavenly moment

It's great to take time away from the stresses of every day things. Even if your doing it alone for a weekend or with a bf, fiance, husband, best friend, or relative. I like to just take a bit of time to myself as I know the stresses I create are my own doing. I'm glad you feel recharged from your "you" time. I appreciate your response to me on my most recent discussion. I also like your discussion here, I appreciate this discussion. I hope you have a wonderful day.

I have no chance to be a couch potato. In the first place, I have no couch and no tv. I just have a bed but the good thing is that I have a computer which is whaat I really need and I don't really like to watch tv.

I think it's good to be a couch potato once in a while. However, being a mom I never get the chance to do that anymore.

Everyone need to take time off to recharge, lucky you that you were able to do this and have no others to worry about. Have a super week.

I don't often have two days off in a row, but when I do, the first always seems to be a "couch potato" day. I let myself sleep in (which means for me, about 7am). I eat an easy breakfast, cereal or something toasted. Then it's usually back to bed with the remote in one hand and a soda in the other. I will ocassionally think that I should be doing something, but that's as far as my productivity usually goes. I'll sncack during the day, or make a sandwich. Then for dinner, we'll order a pizza. I think, with how hard I work and with everything else going on, these recharge days are what keep me sane and healthy.

that sounds fun. i dont have that luxury of doing that. i wasnt feeling well on friday night but hubby and i went out - shopping, after dropping kids off where they needed to be. saturday was full of errands and dinner at my moms, then today, naturally a busy morning as we go to church, then my inlaws took us out for lunch and finally, i get to veg some!!
