It all depends on what you like. Virginia has a lot of history here (Jamestown and Williamsburg are on the coast of VA) Washington DC is fun as well. Florida is nice. It can get hot, but there is lots to do (Disney is there and so is Universal Studios. Universal is where they have sets from popular movies that you can explore and ride rides based on the movies) Have fun, no matter where you chose to go!

Yes, I think I have heard that the Harry Potter Park is suppose to be completed by either late this year or early next year. :)

I have been to lovely California three times and I think it would be a great choice for you. That is because it has some very interesting cities like San Francisco, Santa Cruz, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles and San Diego. There are some sights like the Grand Canyon that might be in a different state but combinable with a trip to wonderful California. The climate is warm and sunny from May to October. The people are friendly and helpful. There are a train service and a bus service that are memorable to travel on. I had a train that arrived at midnight because it was running five hours late. The train company gave me a free taxi ride for half and hour. If I went back to the USA I might visit Florida or go up to see Boston and Cape Cod. Good luck deciding where in the States you will visit.

I live in the US and there are many places here that are great for tourists. I would recommend Nashville, Tennessee or Lexington, KY or Jamestown,VA for some of the starters. IF you happen to be in or around Chicago, visit the Navy Pier as they offer much to do and see.

I live in New York and I think my favorite state to visit is Las Vegas. I love to travel there because well I love to gamble but I just love the atmosphere. It is so much fun and just such a different world than here in New York. I just wouldnt travel there in August. I went there once in august and the temperature hit 116 degrees. No humidity but man it was hot.

It all depend on what you want to see, but all the Arches in Utah and the Grand Canyon in Arizona is a definite if you are not from the United States. Las Vegas is close by and then on to California.
