Life is full of mysteries. For some or so many people, living on earth is not worthy. Maybe because they had gone through so many troubles. How about you guys? Do you appreciate that you were born and why?

Though I am not unhappy, being on Earth, for there are somethings that are interesting on Earth, and I must confess that though my life is not exactly a bed of roses, it is not an unbearable punishment either by the Infinite Grace of God. At the same time going by my religious convictions I would relly like to pursue the goal not being born agin on this Earth, or anywhere else for that matter. I hope you understand the Hindu sentiment. I do appreceaite I was born-meaning I am not at al sad that I am born, buy I take it that I was born to give myself a cance to be out the cycle of birth and desth, at the same time accomplishing whatever I was given talents for. In this I pick up from Jesus' parable of Gold Coins.

I agree that you had included here in discussion, pertaining to Jesus' teaching of how should man use the talent he had given us. Because God has given us unique talents to make the world beautiful to live. And when those talents are shared and use for good purpose and not for bad. Because there are talented persons who use their talents and skills for bad things which makes our life here on earth complicated and dirty. I just hope that every man here on earth use their talents for worthwhile purpose so that we can live with harmony.

We are born on earth not because we want to but because we have to. Our bodies are made up of the past lives karma or the results of the actions and deeds committed in our past lives. We also have many desires which were incomplete in our previous lives and when we come back to earth we have to fulfil them so that no backlog is created. We must ensure that we do not create more desires in the present life otherwise we will keep coming back endlessly. This life of ours is not meant for mere enjoyment but is a learning school and a pathway to God. Here we have to learn to live a life of righteousness, good behaviour, good actions and devotion to God.We must turn our backs to the forces of evil which are constantly at our throats. It is a difficult task but not impossible. Our tenacity and strong will power coupled with the right type of upbringing will help us in our journey through life.Yes i do appreciate my birth because it has opened my eyes and made me turn in the right direction and tread the right path which will eventually lead me to my salvation.God bless you.

Thanks. Yes you're right. Life is not merely for enjoyment. There is always ups and down, that when you are down you have to get up and seek for the right direction. I just find it hard to give advise to my friend who is now in frustrations. I really appreciate your spiritual advise.

I am very lucky to be born. I may not have had all the comforts in life but still I am fortunate to have a good life. I have learned to accept what I am and appreciate the things I have. many simple things makes me happy.

I appreciate I was born. Life is indeed full of mystery and living on earth is all worthwhile even if there are a lot of hardship. I am happy that I am alive everyday to witness and to have a chance to live my life become better each day. Its just a matter of mental thingy... I mean counting the blessing rather than the pain would really help the person appreciate his/her time here on earth.. We're here already, might as well enjoy the ride!!!

Thanks for sharing me. I got your point of counting the blessing rather than pain. I can add this idea in giving advise to my friend who is now considerng life as worthless.

Life on earth should be worthwhile. I have always believe that you have to know the reason why you are here for you to enjoy life. It does npt have to be too grand, it can be very simple reasons like you need to water than plant until it blooms, or you have to be the reason why another person is smiling. If you take life this way, I bet you, your simple life will be greatly appreciated not just by the people around you but most of all, by you. I, for example, believes that the reason I was born is for me to be able to give birth to my son and to rear him as a God-fearing and law-abiding citizen of our land. A tough task in our times.

Knowing your purpose why you are born here on earth is worth to think of. Because God has given us each talent, we have to share and serve for the benefit of others. And yes, sharing it and using it for our children, it's hard to rear a child in our times. Because our time now is so complex, not simple as the ancient times.

Yeah, i worth it. Life is full of challenges. I also face many trouble in my life so far, but blaming why and where we live is not wise i think. Whatever trouble i had, it makes me stronger, i just keep on positive thinking. There are many people have bigger trouble than i have, but they face it so tough. If they can, i believe i can.
