About two years ago my mom leased a van from a used car lot. It was a great van untill someone hit it in the front. It caused the radiator problems and other problems. Well my parents couldn't afford to get it fixed last year so when they got their tax money back they paid off the vehicle and pulled it from the mechanics to the house. It was just sitting there untill they could fix the radiator. It has only been in our yard for a month.
My stepfather gets up every morning at four. He leaves for work at four thirty. I get up at six for work. My mom also gets up at six to get my sister off to school. I went to crank up my car at six thirty because it was kind of cool this morning. The van was gone. There was tire tracks from the location of where it was all the way to the end of our driveway. The tire tracks was dirt tore up out of the ground. My mom called my step dad. The van was there when he left. Someone attached it to a bigger vehicle and pulled it off our propertie. The keys was in our house so the person couldn't put it in neutral which explains the dirt being ripped up and all that. So now my parents have to figure out who stole it.
We dont have any idea who stole it. The radiator is blown. Who ever pulled it out that way most likely messed up the tires, the transmission and possibly other things. Its upsetting because my parents worked hard to get that van back and were working harder to get it fixed.
Sorry so long but had to explain story for everyone to understand why this vehicle was undriveable.

I hope you had insurance on it. That way they'd atleast get something out of their loss.
Any updates on what happened? Did the police locate it?

It seems strange that no one heard the bigger vehicle pulling it out as it had to make alot of noise. You might go through the paperwork on it and look for the VIN number in case they try to resell it or put plates and tags on it. I'd notify the police about if you haven't already. You have to wonder why someone would go to that much trouble for a broken van.
