The Board of Control for Cricket in India announced on sunday (22.03.09) that, the second session of IPL will be held out side of india.IPL commissioner Sri Lalit Modi said on sunday, with first game match timing would remain the same, scheduled at 1600 IST and next at 2000, Still there is no concrete decision, where all the matches will play.South Africa and England are being talked about as possible venues.Lalit Modi also told that no matter which venue they will be played at.Obviously this is not a matter where they will play. But we will deprive to see the match from cricket ground.State Minister of Gujrat told today that, Total ipl matches can organized easily in gujrat. And he has no problem to organized in gujrat. At this time, BCCI should talk with Gujrat Chief Minister Mr.Modi.What do you think on this matter?? Do you think If ipl will held out site of india, then will ipl get such popularity as last year.

If IPL held in england or South africa, then only few people will be on the ground. And i think, Without supporters, IPL may lost their popularity.

Its a sad thing that IPL has been shifted outside. It could have been conducted later in India itself, if the IPL and the Team Franchisees had interests of the people. They just dont want to lose their pie of share in profits from the tournament. In one way its a good thing to the cricket becuase any untoward incident during the IPL matches would have left a bad impact on the game.

Look as IPL is held outside India, it is sad for us. But I guess the government could have handled the issue more sensibly. they have done nothing right. Now the days were also approaching. so they had to take a decision.
