What do you think of the new "random order" of Judging?

In the past, it was always Simon who got the final word, but this time around they do it randomly. Personally, I feel it's anti-climactic not to let Simon have the final statement, just because for me his critique is the most valuable among all 4 judges. I also think that Randy's cliched statements, Kara's obvious love for "glory notes" and Paula's incomprehensible advice takes away a lot of credibility to the show. I wish they will replace those three in the future. Keep Simon and remove the others! Ha ha. What do you think of this new order?

The order doesn't bother me at all. You see it starts out with Randy in the beginning then the next contestant will see that Kara is the first and the third Paula will go first and then the Fourth they try and get Simon to go first but sometimes that doesn't always work that way. American Idol is one of my favorite shows and i cant wait till Wednesday since it wont be on Tuesday because Obama will be on. Enjoy Mylotting today.

They seem to be rotating the order. The first one is Randy, Kara, Paula, Simon Then for the second performer, it is Kara, Paula, Simon, Randy The third is Paula, Simon, Randy, Kara It seems that Simon defers to the other judges when his turn to go first comes up as he doesn't seem to like the position. Which seeing as how he often has the most straightforward comment, it makes sense that he would not want to be first. I liked the previous set up better. Let Randy be the middle ground, have Kara and Paula compliment the artist (even if it is just "You look great") and have Simon finish with his critique.

The random order does add a little variety but not enough. I agree..the judges should be replaced. Signs of burn-out are showing. How can they possibly judge effectively; having to listen to the same songs over and over again? Time for fresh ears and hopefully, more objective judging.

spot on inkyuboz, i like when simon has the last word although i do not like how every year he sits quietly and listens to Randy praise his favs, in street lingo, then Paula ramble on trying to make a point. The when Simon goes between the crowd and the other judges he never gets to finish a thought completely.

I actually like it. I give more variety to the judges part of the show. This way you can hear what each one has to say once in a while without having to follow someone else. I like Kara. I think she brought something needed to the judges. I could do without Randy and his DAWG all the time! Paula doesn't bother me either.
