I got the power bill today and we can afford to live here another month, after last month's bill i was afraid to look at this month's bill. Our company offers several Green options but I can't afford just the regular power I don't see how I can afford to go green much as I'd like to. Does your power company offer these?

theres simple things you can do to lower your power consumption, not sure if you are doing any of these already. Your pc uses the equivalent of 2 60 watt bulbs depending on your pc make and model limit your time on there. Switch off dont leave any appliance of standby, change your bulbs to energy saving ones you can get these really cheaply. Turn your heating down by a few degree's. These are the easiest ways also a great way we invested in a power meter that measures power consumption and it really got us in tune with how much energy we were using, we got our bills down in a month by about 25 % by just being aware. Hope it helps

Green options are wind and solar power. My company is giving us the chance to but from these sources. Thanks

Not that I know of the don't offer them. But then again I am so busy trying to keep the bill I have paid that I haven't inquired about them. The warmer weather is a welcome sight in a lot of ways!
