How do you dance in your heels?

This sounds stupod but when you are accustomed to either flats, boots with thick heels or tennis shoes...I was wondering. I love to wear heels, but I never wear them when I go dancing. Because I cannot dance in them. I barely can walk without having dire consequences. My mom tells me she used to practice walking around the house in them all the time....so suggestions please.

if you rely on a tiny little heel to hold your weight and balance while dancing you're more likely to slip and twist an ankle so my suggestion is to dance on the ball of your foot like professionals do, it's certainly not easy but it's always worked for me and it's a killer calf workout!

You have to wear them more to get used to them so that you can dance in them. When I was younger and going to clubs to go dancing I wore heels but I was used to them since I wore them all the time to work in an office.

I really don't have any suggestions for you as you are only getting older. I didn't look at your profile so I'm not sure how old you are or anything, but like when i was little i used to buy my moms heels on and walk around the house with them. I was also in a lot of pageants growing up so i had to wear heels then so i have the tendency to just walk in them all the time and i got used to it. I go to clubs with heels on a lot but i always keep a pair of flip flops in my car if i need to change.
